providers like airtel, aircel and so on do have their own cheat codes for directly connecting to their support agents.
Since i was using a chennai vodafone number, i have called in the vodafone support number 98430-98430, then i was greeted by the usual IVR saying that “Welcome to vodafone, we are happy to help you! blah blah blah…..” as soon as i heard the IVR, i have dialled 0*0*0*0*0* on my mobile, then i was directed to a support agent immediately.

Michael Mooney, a 17 year old teenage student from Brooklyn, New York, created a worm that exploited the Cross-site scripting vulnerabilites in twitter that wreaked havoc among the legitimate twitter users.
He created another worm in order to promote the site he ran, called stalkdaily.com. He said that he was capable of creating potentially dangerous worm that could cause more damage, but he havent done it, because he was only trying to publicise the flaws.
Travis Rowland, 24, founder and chief exec of Web applications development firm exqSoft Solutions offered Mooney a security analyst and web development job, considering that Mooney will help publicise his firm too.
Popular hackers and Security experts meet CansecWest was held on Thursday (19-3-2009) at Vancouver. Chief security engineer Andrea Barisani and hardware hacker Daniele Bianco developed a home brew laser microphone device that absorbs the vibrations from keyboard, analyze them and will tells the exact key that was hit in the keyboard. Anyone by using this device can sniff the keystrokes between 50 to 100 feet away.
The equipement costs around $80 and uses a laser trained on shiny notebook or via electrical signals. This equipment wont work against notebooks and USB keyboards. The presenters said that this really makes the task easier for hackers for sniffing keystrokes without the victims knowledge and the cost of this device will be lowered depending upon the target. This equipment can also be used to sniff keystrokes from ATM machines.
